Alesia Crawford, School Counselor

Desiree Drake, CSC

My name is Desiree Drake, I am originally from Chicago, Il and I moved to Decatur, Ga at the age of 12. I graduated from Avondale High School (GO BLUE DEVILS). After graduating high school, I entered the work field working at FedEx Ground for seven years. In 2015, I began working as a security guard at Lithonia High School while also graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Herzing University. Later in May 2023 I received my Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in School Counseling. As a school counselor one of my roles is encouraging all children to strive for their personal best to become an asset to our amazing community. Supporting my students in meeting all personal and academic goals is important to me as well. I am thrilled to work with students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
